England continued their dominance in the second-half with Ellis Genge getting on the scoreboard and Guy Porter scoring his second try. Japan scored a try on the hour-mark when Naoto Saito crossed under the posts. The visitors' success was short-lived as England were awarded a penalty try 10 minutes later.
