England v Wales Match Reports

England came back to beat Wales 19-17 at Twickenham despite being down to 12 men at one point in the match. The home side were leading 6-0 at the break through two Owen Farrell penalty kicks. Farrell kicked a third penalty early in the second half, after Tommy Reffell was yellow-carded for an infringement at the ruck. Owen Williams got Wales on the board when he kicked a penalty in the 46th minute. Things started to unravel for England in the 58th minute when Ellis Genge received a yellow card for collapsing a scrum. Wales were then awarded a penalty try on the hour mark after Josh Adams successfully collected a cross-field kick, but he was illegally challenged by Freddie Steward who joined Genge in the sin-bin. Owen Farrell also made a dangerous tackle that saw him receive a yellow card, which was subsequently elevated to a red card. Wales took advantage of their extra men to put Tomos Williams over for a try in the 65th minute. Despite having three men off the field, England replied with a Maro Itoje try to cut the deficit to just one point. George Ford scored a late penalty to take England into a narrow lead which they held onto for a much-needed victory. A selection of match reports is listed below:
