England v Australia Match Reports
England began their autumn series with a confident 25-7 victory over Australia at the Allianz Stadium to lift the Ella-Mobbs Trophy. The hosts made a bright start and eventually broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with a George Ford penalty. Just a minute later, Ben Earl burst clear to score the opening try. The Wallabies responded when Harry Potter intercepted a pass and raced the length of the field to score. Despite having the better of the chances, England led just 10-7 at half-time. England replacement Henry Pollock was first to score in the second half, swooping on a loose ball and running clear just before the hour mark. Alex Mitchell squeezed over inside the final 10 minutes for England's third try, and moments later, Luke Cowan-Dickie was driven over from a lineout maul to seal a convincing win.
