A much-changed Wales laboured to a 35-13 bonus-point win over Uruguay in their final pool match at the Kumamoto Stadium. Wales had already qualified for the quarter-finals, but still needed a win to secure top spot in the pool. A series of handling errors in the first half meant that Wales only led 7-6 at half-time thanks to a Nicky Smith try.
