Scott Williams recalled to Wales squad after Tyler Morgan injury

Dragons centre Tyler Morgan has been ruled out of Wales' autumn internationals through injury, the Welsh Rugby Union has announced.

The 22-year-old will miss the fixtures against Australia, Georgia, New Zealand and South Africa after sustaining an ankle problem during the Dragons' PRO14 defeat to Ospreys last week.

Scarlets centre Scott Williams, left out of Warren Gatland's initial 36-man squad, has received a recall as a replacement for Morgan.

A WRU statement read: "Tyler Morgan's ankle injury sustained in the fixture for the Dragons against the Ospreys last weekend will preclude him from taking any part in the Under Armour Series - with this in mind he will continue his management at his region.

"Scarlets centre Scott Williams joined the squad this morning."
