The British & Irish Lions recorded a 28-10 victory over Japan at BT Murrayfield, but suffered a couple of injuries in the process. Most notable was the loss of captain Alun Wyn Jones in the 8th minute to what looked like a shoulder injury. Justin Tipuric also left the field due to injury later in the first half. The Lions' four tries were scored by Josh Adams, Duhan van der Merwe, Robbie Henshaw and Tadhg Beirne. Japan came into the game in the latter stages and scored a try through Kazuki Himeno.
