France pulled away in the second half to beat England 35-19 in a non-cap summer warm-up fixture in Vannes. England got off to a flying start when Cadan Murley crossed inside the opening minute. France replied with Nicolas Depoortere and Grégoire Arfeuil both touching down to put the hosts ahead. Marcus Smith struck just before half-time to reduce the deficit, leaving France with a narrow 14-12 lead at the break. Nolann Le Garrec got the first score of the second half to extend France's advantage. Moments later, Antoine Hastoy dived over as the hosts tightened their grip on the contest. Fabien Brau-Boirie crossed in the closing stages to cap a dominant second-half display from France.
