New Zealand and South Africa are set to face each other at Twickenham as part of their final preparations for next year’s Rugby World Cup in France.

The two sides will play each other at the home of rugby on Friday August 25, just two weeks before the All Blacks kick off the World Cup against the hosts in Paris.

Their last meeting at Twickenham came in the 2015 Rugby World Cup semi-finals, where the Springboks were beaten 20-18 after New Zealand edged to victory thanks to a late try from Beauden Barrett. The All Blacks went on to win the competition.

South Africa are the current World Cup holders after beating England 32-12 in the 2019 final and begin their title defence against Scotland in Marseille.

Tickets for the match are expected to go on general sale on Thursday 27th October via the Ticketmaster website, priced from £55 for adults and £28 for under-16s (plus booking fees).
